An Effective Approach to Higher ACT Scores
The ACT is primarily a test of learned knowledge—that is, it tests a student’s knowledge of what they have learned from their high school curriculum.
Our ACT PLUS™ program begins with a Dynamic Diagnostic Assessment™ that helps pinpoint a student’s particular learning strengths and weaknesses. It’s the best way to help a student where he or she needs it the most.
About the ACT
The ACT is comprised of 4 multiple-choice sections and one essay section:
- English
- Math
- Reading
- Science
- Optional writing test
The ACT measures a student’s academic knowledge, a student’s reasoning ability, and his or her ability to work under pressure.
Oxford Learning’s ACT PLUS™ booklets are a compilation of strategies and tips that improve general test-taking abilities, which leads to success on the ACT including:
- Strategies for answering multiple-choice questions
- Time management techniques
- What to do when two answers seem the same
- Organizing a study schedule
Test Prep Plus So Much More!
Because preparing for and writing college entrance exams is only the beginning, ACT PLUS™ helps students develop skills that are necessary for success in college and university.
Don’t just prepare for the ACT, prepare for success in life!
